Shalrie is very excited to partner with up and coming beverage company owater.  owater, the “healthy sports drink,” is a Concord, MA based company that prides itself on being “everything you want from a sports drink and none of the junk you don’t.”  Shalrie first tasted owater this winter, and instantly fell in love with it — he had finally found a drink that not only tasted good, but was good for him.  owater is made with all natural flavors, antioxidants, and electrolytes — best of all it contains no artificial flavors or high fructose corn syrup.

Shalrie will be at Campanelli Stadium (1 Feinberg Way, Brockton, MA) Friday August 28th to watch the Brockton Rox professional baseball team take on the Worcester Tornadoes and sign autographs. Shalrie accomplishes a major life goal, and becomes a US Citizen.

Shalrie was named to the MLS All-Star First XI on July 13th, marking the 6th consecutive year that Shalrie has made the MLS All-Star Team. The naming also marked the fourth consecutive year Shalrie was named to MLS All-Star First XI. The First XI consists of one goalkeeper, three defenders, five midfielders, and two forwards. The First XI is an honor given to the 11 players that received the most votes at their respective positions from four groups- fans, players, media, and coaches/general managers. Shalrie was joined by two other repeat MLS All-Stars (Landon Donovan and Dwayne De Rosario), along with 7 newcomers. Shalrie was unable to participate in All-Star Game due to injury, the game was played July 29th in Salt Lake City against Everton FC of the English Premier League.
